Nikki Puppet

NIKKI PUPPET - The band with catchy melodies, their own style of music and high
recognition value. Their songs are tough, snotty and catchy. NIKKI PUPPET´s style is between
hard and heavy rock, alternative and metal, characterized by strong hooklines, brilliant solos
and powerful grooves. And now they also present their songs acoustically on their new acoustic
album „Men against machine“.
Meanwhile the Hanoverians have released six CDs and one re-release. The will and the motivation
to write good songs, to publish them and to perform them live is still unbroken. Because that is
their heart and soul, and that’s what drives them mercilessly.
In 2005 the first output was voted ‘Demo of the Month’ by Metal Hammer, followed by the
debut album ‘Puppet on a string’.
Afterwards Nikki Puppet played a successful four-week European tour with the Michael Schenker
Group, further concerts with i.a. Rose Tattoo, festival shows e.g. in Wacken and at the Rockharz
Open Air followed.
Nicky Gronewold is on the microphone and Christos Mamalitsidis plays the guitar.
The rhythm section with Kai Paulmann on drums and Marc Scholz on bass provides the catchy
groove. The four musicians - who couldn‘t be more different - create powerful, unique songs
through their symbiosis and create their well-known ‘Nikki Puppet’ style from them.
