Musician and radio personality Fabrizio Lavoro a.k.a. Nikki started as a teenager playing in various hard rock/metal bands then landed an audition for TV show ‘Deejay Television’ where he started hosting and playing guitar riffs at the age of 18. Consequently he started his radio show on major station Radio Deejay.
In ‘94 he released the album ‘Rock Normale’, which included the ballad ‘L’ultimo bicchiere’,
a major hit in Italy.
He supported Jovanotti's first stadium tour in ‘97.
After a break spent abroad he returned to radio with the show Tropical Pizza, which to this day is well known nationally for its eclectic mix of music and talk, starting a long list of interviews and live jams on air and on stage.
A passionate traveler, in the mid 00’s he ran his radio show from New York and
subsequently hosted TV travel show Shuffolato.
In 2017 he founded Tropical Pizza Soundsystem, featuring a live band and turntablist Dj Aladyn.
In 2019 he released La Superluna di Drone Kong's first album.
Superluna Rock Music in 2022 has more of a psychedelic nature and features the Punk-Environmentalist song Idea.
Blues/Nursery rhyme Halloween Boogie came out in 2022 while Nosferatu and Spettro in 2023 show a darker side of Superluna.
The Garage-Rock Ep Boost and the single You Spin Me Round, backed by original Stoned by the Devil are out now!
Superluna's third album is expected in 2025
