Nikkola Jay is a Melbourne-based hip hop artist and producer. Growing up in Logan (QLD) she turns real life into razor-sharp verses known for quick lyricism & dripping with attitude in her delivery. She brings a fierce, unfiltered energy to Australia’s hip hop scene alongside her self-produced beats fusing various styles of hip hop such as trap and drill elements.

In 2021 she won Best Production at The Cassette Awards, with her music journey starting as performance poetry and having published written works by age 12. Her music journey also led her to perform in Los Angeles - gaining her a scholarship at The New York Conservatory For Dramatic Arts. She studied a Bachelor of Audio Engineering in Australia with self-produced tracks from 2017 and has recently performed at the 2026 Brunswick Music Festival.
