Niklas Krantz

Niklas Krantz is a Stockholm-based guitarist, artist, singer and songwriter who has started to build his reputation in music circuits in Stockholm and is now ready to take the step to the next level. After playing with a number of different live acts such as Oscar Soul Experience which also resulted in the band's debut album, he also had the opportunity to work with producer Brady Blade (Rolling Stones, Emmylou Harris, Dave Matthews Band) and play with the Grammy-winning brother Brian Blade (Norah Jones, Joni Mitchell, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea). Everyone who has been to a good live concert can agree that there is a special energy when a band plays together and that is also how Niklas records his songs. The crystal clear guitars, analog synths, near-mic drums together with congas and screaming saxophone contribute to a clean, lively and timeless sound that you can not help but to be swept away by. The inspiration is taken from the 80's. An era where it was common for technology and music to meet in the middle and live in symbiosis with each other. Major influences that also reflect this are Phil Collins, Alan Parson Project, Whitney Houston, Toto and others.
