Nina Mae Harper is a singer-songwriter based in Valencia, Spain. Originally from the Netherlands, she spent many years in Scotland, before emigrating to the sun.
Her sound is influenced by the timeless storytelling and music of giants like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Steve Earle and others, while also drawing inspiration from melancholic melodies by female singer-songwriters such as Ane Brun, Eilen Jewell, and First Aid Kit.
Moving between country-folk, rock, and a hint of blues, Nina Mae Harper creates a unique blend of heartfelt lyrics and soulful melodies. Her music is a journey through personal stories and universal truths, delivered with strong vocals, both in intimate ballads and more electric, upbeat tracks.
Recording her first solo album in 2025, together with producer and multi-instrumentalist Helder Borges Santos, she also continues to play live with various musicians under her own name.
