Nina Taylor

Singer/Songwriter Nina Taylor, born Christina Hall, channels the soulful rhythms of Chicago's west side onto the global stage. Raised in a musically diverse household, Nina's journey began under the mentorship of her family of musicians and enthusiasts, exposing her to a wide range of genres from RnB to World Music. Her mother, an opera singer, recognized Nina's talent early, initiating Suzuki Violin lessons at three. Nina's musical curiosity flourished as she explored voice, piano, drums, and saxophone through her schooling. However, it was her time in the church's Gospel choir that truly shaped her soulful sound.
"Church taught me that music is a divine gift, speaking directly to the soul," Nina reflects. "And that purpose resonates deeply within me." After graduating from UC Berkeley, Nina relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her musical passion.
