NINETY-U

His world is stimulating, warm, and addictive, created by words spun in old-school DEEJAY STYLE strongly influenced by the reggae of the 80's and 90's, and humorous and somewhat mischievous cut.
He is good at toasting, part-two style, and other old mannerisms, as well as the so-called “bass music” approach, and sometimes mixes in rap-like flows to thrillingly swim in the ocean of sound beyond the boundaries of reggae, a neo-ragamuffin OLD NEW DEEJAY, so to speak.

80's,90'sレゲエに強く影響を受けたオールドスクールなDEEJAY STYLEで紡ぐ言葉と、ユーモラスで何処か悪戯な切り口から創りあげる彼の世界は刺激的で暖かく、かつ中毒性が強い。
トースティングやパートツースタイル等のオールドマナーから所謂BASS MUSIC的アプローチも得意とし、時にはRAPのようなフローも織り交ぜてはレゲエの枠を越えた音海をもスリリングに遊泳する、言わばネオラガマフィンなオールドニューディージェー。

＊2004年、福岡天神親不孝通りを拠点にDEEJAY活動を開始。
＊2006年、福岡のDEEJAYバトル『CATCH DA MICROPHONE vol.3』優勝。
＊2015年、九州規模のDEEJAY CLASH『THE STRUGGLER 2015』優勝。
＊2018年、"SHORT-ARROW & NINETY-U"として『OUTLOOK FESTIVAL JAPAN 2018 SOUND CLASH』優勝。
＊2019年、"NINETY-U with AMMERS"として福岡の音楽フェス"Sunset Live"のオーディションを制覇しSunset Liveに初出演。
＊2023年、春にAlbum「滑走路」を、夏にはEP「Still on journey e.p.」をリリースし、共にiTunesレゲエアルバムチャート1位を獲得。
