Nino Alejandro is an multi award winning singer/songwriter, stage and tv actor, and music producer who got his first break on Eat Bulaga! and soon became one of the stars of That’s Entertainment and Music Bureau. After his stint on the boyband Voice Unlimited, Nino embarked on his solo career, not only as a singer but also as a composer, producer and actor.
In between his usual gigs as well as touring and performing all over the US, Canada, Japan and many other countries, Nino pursued his passion for rock with his band NATF. In 2013 he made his theater debut with The Full Monty, and last year got rave reviews for his performance alongside international musical theater icons Mig Ayesa and Joanna Ampil in The Bridges of Madison County. He then went on to star as Nick Massi in the Manila run of the Tony Award-winning hit, Jersey Boys and Ogie in Waitress MNL, where earned an Aliw nomination for Best Actor in a Featured Role.
In 2014 Nino was a four-chair turner at the blind auditions for The Voice of the Philippines for his performance of ACDC’s Highway To Hell, which went viral with over 2 million views on YouTube. He was part of Team Lea Salonga and his version of Livin’ On A Prayer is part of the Season 2 album compilation.
Nino is now with Rebel Records/Warner Music Philippines and has released new music including nationalistic rock anthem Sigaw, and Awit Award nominee for Song of the Year, “Ngayong Gabi”.
