Niños con Pistolas (spanish for Kids with Guns) is a garage band from Lechería, Venezuela. Founded in 2016 by bass player Fernando Rodríguez, one of the ex members of La Fiesta Animal. By 2017, his solo project grew with the inclusion of Gennaro Di Luca and Luís Gómez, both on guitar. After a long search, they found drummer Héctor Cabello (ex-Zeta) to complete their first official line up.
Currently, this line up is dispersed around South America and Spain.
Niños con Pistolas combines garage punk, noise rock and post punk, taking inspiration from bands like Nelson y los Filisteos, Dead Kennedys, Joy Division, Buzzcocks and FIDLAR. Their music speaks out against injustices they see in the world, like the ignored issue of kids having guns.
Their debut EP "Guerra Relámpago" was recorded and mixed by Rodrigo Vera Sapene; and mastered by Max Martínez in Altos Estudios (Barcelona, Venezuela). Was released on December 6th of 2018 under the label Amigos de la Casa.
