Based out of Mumbai, Nirmit is a multi-genre producer and composer. While his one foot is firmly placed in India with Bollywood & Hindustani roots, his work clearly shows that his other foot has taken to tap-dancing all across the world. He interweaves electronic sounds, EDM grooves, jazz harmonies, rock riffs and RnB sensibilities with modern Indian pop and hindustani songwriting.
Having started his musical journeys writing for experimental, english-lyric indie projects such as Ape Echoes and Nothing Anonymous - his influences of RnB, Jazz, Hip hop, Rock, Electronica and EDM cut through quite evidently.
Now, Nirmit is exploring new collaborations with local and hindustani artists in the Indian independent space, and exploring the essences of his roots and upbringing in India.
