Nirva Ready was born in Brooklyn and raised in Chicago by her Haitian immigrant parents. Her first break in music came at a very young age when she accepted a position as a touring singer for Joyce Meyer’s Youth Ministries. A chance encounter with TobyMac in 2001 led to a 17-year career as a singer/performer in Toby’s Diverse City band. In 2016, Nirva formed a musical duet with her husband as the groundbreaking duo Seth & Nirva. Among other accomplishments, Nirva has had the pleasure of singing with high profile artists such as Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Mandisa, and Natalie Grant. In recent years Nirva has branched out into podcast hosting, leading worship at her church, and releasing solo music. Nirva currently serves as the Assistant Professor of Commercial Music at the Liberty University School of Music.
