Nombeko Merlyn Ncube, also known as Nkatha, has already established herself as a rising star in the music industry. Her unique style blends Amapiano, Afrobeat and RnB in Zulu and English lyrics, drawing on her cultural heritage which includes Portuguese, South African and Zimbabwean influences.
In 2023, she has been working on a highly-anticipated debut EP to be released during the second half of the year. This has involved collaborations with several artists and songwriters including CaltonicSA, Khalil Harrison and MaWhoo as well as Manu Worldstar, Gemini Major, grammy nominated singer/songwriter Daecolm and two-time grammy winner Elijah Blake.
