NKRIOT RISES FROM THE ASHES WITH NEW EP RELEASE DATA_ONE:
A year long hiatus, the electronic artist presents to us the next chapter in the NKRIOT epic.

NKRIOT has become one of Los Angeles most enigmatic performing artists. From a diverse catalog spanning Nu-Disco, House, EDM, NK uses his new EP ‘Data ONE’ as the vessel introducing the artists new passion; IDM. This genre of ‘Intelligent Dance Music” the powerful steps the artist took in expanding his understanding and skills as a DJ and visual performance artist.


Structurally, the EP is a cinematic allegory to the trials and tribulations faced by the artist this past year. Though not an easy one, each piece is filled with the kind of hope and sense of accomplishment one feels once they have conquered the final “boss” at the end of your favorite game. Technically, the 5 track EP features various sound design, techniques, and music arrangements NK spent his hiatus perfecting. Featuring the same amount of NKRIOT power, you hear layers upon layers of precision and technology beckoning the sound of an artist creatively sky rocketing, and expertly mastering his craft.”

The EP comes as a release under the automaton’s new label “Toys of the Masses”. Most notably known for their work with Apex Theory, TOTM is based in NK’s hometown of LA.
