No Captives is a three-piece inspired predominantly by the post-hardcore, punk & emo-tinged alternative rock music of 1990s San Diego. The trio's debut three-track release, "If It Kills," is a raw exercise in energy, featuring coarse screams and piercing guitars atop the thrash of growling bass and pulsating beats. "Hey Jigsaw" is a cover of San Diego's Tanner, one of the band's biggest influences.
