Like most bands No Flowers No Wedding Dress was formed to conquer the world with rock and roll. The drugs the booze the women all the things young stupid boys want when they strap on their cool looking guitars and pound like primitives on drums. Like all suburban kids of course they were totally clueless as to how they were going to achieve this world conquering business, and without that very clue decided to attempt it it any way.
As the things go the Band met Gary Devlin who was lecturing at the Perth School Of Audio Engineering. He was a local good south of the river lad and sort of volunteered to record some band demos at the SAE. This was the start of a very creative partnership between the band and Gary who really was like a non playing fifth member at times.
NFNWD has shared the stage with great Australian bands such as: The Black Eyed Susans, Weddings Parties Anything, The Panics, Spank, Rosemary Beads, The Chevelles, A Month of Sundays, Ammonia, The Mars Bastards, Bucket, The Rosebuds, The Navahodads, Jack and The Beanstalk,The Falling Joys, The Clouds, Jackson Code, The Mark Of Cain, Ice-cream Hands, Died Pretty and Ed Kuepper.
Their gig credits also include festivals and events like In The Pines for RTR FM radio, Artrage, Kiss My WAMI Awards, and The Bedtime Beats You Brainless compilation launch. and their own brainchild The West Australian Original Music Showcase.<br>
