Growing up in Eugene, Oregon, Noah was initially influenced by his musician father’s love of folk music, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and Jimi Hendrix. Although his inspiration has folk and rock roots, his music embraces reggae, country, pop, and contemporary electronic music. Major influences include the Grateful Dead, U2, Jack Johnson, Santana, Ravi Shankar, John Mayer, and Tom Petty.
Following introspective journeys of creative discovery up and down the West Coast, to Atlanta and North Carolina, Kadre’s daughter – whose unfettered childhood joy inspired “Born to Fly” – was born in Tahoe, and everything changed, a creative light was born. Kadre then relocated to Boise, earned teaching and master’s degrees, and began seriously self-recording his favorites among the countless songs he’d penned along the way embodying all the love, joy, pain, struggles, and triumphs of his unique life experiences.
“I wanted to encapsulate the feeling of my spiritual practice, where I get up in the morning and give thanks. I want to feel that thankfulness every day,” Kadre explained.
Most recently, following a new chapter of his ever evolving creative journey, Kadre has relocated back to San Diego, making his way to where it all started for him, by the vast deepness of the meditative blues of the Pacific Ocean and the spiritual music vibrations of Encinitas.
