Noa's Joy is the music of John Wehrle. John's mom passed in 2017 and he was gifted his mom's piano. During that same time, his marriage ended and his focus was soley on his daughter, Noa, and trying to fill the empty spaces of relationships lost. "I looked at my life and where I found joy, and my daughter and her pure heart was at the center of it." Life was changing rapidly and moving slowly at the same time.
"Many nights it was just me and the piano for hours on end." Music started flowing and Noa's Joy was created.
The music revolves around life themes of relationships, love, love lost, and redemption. A listener called it happy/sad music, and that's the best explanation thus far. The upbeat pop rhythms driven by catchy melodies and cool guitar riffs contrast with a more brooding and introspective dive lyrically into the subconscious questions we all ask.
Noa's Joy has released 2 EP's, and a third one is coming soon.
