NOCTĀLIS

Prelude marks the first entry into NOCTĀLIS, an independent music project born alongside the dystopian novel Purple Violet. Rather than serving as a soundtrack in the traditional sense, NOCTĀLIS exists as its own artistic body, translating the emotional core of the story into sound.

Blending vocal metal, dark atmospheric layers, and dreamy ballads, NOCTĀLIS explores inner states that words alone often fail to hold. The lyrics are written as narrated fragments rather than conventional songs, allowing emotions, memories, and fragments of thought to surface without structure or resolution.

At the center of this universe is Nion, a girl trying desperately to keep her world from collapsing. No matter how fiercely she resists, everything around her continues to break. The music follows her resilience, her fear, and the quiet hope she refuses to abandon.

Each track opens a window into a moment, a memory, or a state of mind. Some follow Nion directly, others step into darker corners of the world she inhabits. The result is not a retelling of a story, but an expansion of it.
