Noelle Hughes

Welcome. Noeele Hughes now goes by the performance name Auryaun. She shed her name after her first album, i am me/am i not?, which explored her inner demons of C-PTSD, depersonalization disorder, anxiety, and depression. The name Auryaun came about as a nickname during her adolescence and is pronounced “Orion”. Auryaun has come out as an advocate for mental illness issues and even has a safe space for open discussion on her Discord. She believes that people should not be shamed over having mental illness issues, especially during these stressful times. She firmly believes in the healing modality of music, and personally uses songwriting as a method of processing out her feelings—specifically through the act of singing. Producing the frequencies via the voice does something to the blockages in the etheric body, and aids in their release. Adding specific words to match those frequencies makes the release even more powerful. She's often given the feedback that when she sings she gives people goosebumps.
