Nolfo is an electronic musician who finds inspiration in the emergence of novelty—often drawn to ideas that feel mysterious and elusive even to himself, yet carry a strong gravitational pull. Much of his musical inspiration surfaces during painting sessions, where he “taps into unknown universes,” capturing standout images that seem to imply deeper meaning.
From this space, he began exploring the subconscious process of improvising spoken word poetry into his voice memos app, later extracting core themes and transforming them into beat tag–like vocal chops. These fragments are then woven into evolving, lore-based synth tales.
He continues to develop this process under his other alias, Strawberry Man, a central character he created during a drawing session—surely a symbolic representation of a deeper aspect of self.
Nolfo first found early success collaborating with the artist brillion. on the hit track “Nightlight,” which gained over 13 million streams. Wanting something more personal to emerge from his craft, he spent the next four years facing the world—and ultimately himself—while living in new places, leaving old friends behind, and discovering the new.
This journey led to his first compiled body of work: the EP “Memories of Motorbikes,” released on the esteemed label 110100100.global, among some of his most cherished artists to date.
