Nolly Rich is the stage name of Nolan Ryan Rich. Born April 28th, 2001, This alternative-expirimental vocalist sites a medley of influences including Syd Barrett, Vada Vada, My Chemical Romance, and Kanye West.
Brand spanking new to the music industry, Rich wears his heart on his sleeve on his 2022 project First Bullet, Then Decay Pt. 1. The name behind it is a somewhat of an abstract way of describing a breakup. Just like a murder, first the bullet represents the breakup, and if you were really in love it's just a slow sad process of decay. It can also be seen as a way to talk about success and fame, have one good release then lose relevance.
“It's a story about a breakup I had in 2022 with a woman I still consider the person I loved most in life. It's a confusing story about the odd parts of true heartbreak. coming to terms, stages of grief, blaming others,anger and trying to do anything to stop what happened and get her back.”
Still to come from Nolly Rich is an even more experimental, louder album which will be people hyped and turn crowds into animals. It will be inspired by The Garden and Machine Girl.
Nolly Rich strives to deliver a melancholy sound layered edgy instrumentation from his go to producers, as he meshes punk, indie rock, hip-hop, and emo together.
