After meeting during a stint in drug rehab in Austin, Texas, the members of nolo quickly became friends, bonding over shared struggles, the search for somewhere to call home and the desire to create. Combining elements of high energy punk, funky grooves and ear-catching melodies, the band quickly began working on music together in 2018 as a way to process the past and bring meaning to the present. Releasing their debut album 'VERSIONS' in 2024, nolo has honed their sound and made a name for themselves performing locally and nationally.
