A soulful Los Angeles-based pop/rock outfit in the vein of <a href="spotify:artist:04gDigrS5kc9YWfZHwBETP">Maroon 5</a>, North of Nine are led by charismatic vocalist <a href="spotify:artist:5n4GpmlM9nTuOiMWpQhHKo">Jackson Guthy</a>, a precocious singer/songwriter who began recording professionally at the age of 11, and has performed on The Ellen Show and opened for acts like <a href="spotify:artist:4m4SfDVbF5wxrwEjDKgi4k">Cher Lloyd</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1l8Fu6IkuTP0U5QetQJ5Xt">Fifth Harmony</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5Rl15oVamLq7FbSb0NNBNy">Five Seconds of Summer</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:4AK6F7OLvEQ5QYCBNiQWHq">One Direction</a>. Rounded out by Rob Ketchum (drums), Michael O'Grady (guitar), Edison Lo (bass), and Nolan Frank (keys), the group is the brainchild of <a href="spotify:artist:5n4GpmlM9nTuOiMWpQhHKo">Guthy</a> and manager/executive producer <a href="spotify:artist:0V3kizYzX2po7ElYGzUcu6">Randy Jackson</a>.
