NOTI - the solo project of Swiss producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Noti - shares a hundred times. The new single offers the first glimpse at NOTI’s upcoming album, take 02 (set for release this fall). Vocalist Andrea Thoma, better known as <a href="spotify:artist:6DUqSUK6hCQtkd6pee8xwp" data-name="Amoa">Amoa</a>, lends her subtly poignant timbre to NOTI’s composition, a bittersweet homage to the golden era of trip hop and its icons. At heart, a hundred times is driven by a thumping beat; based on this pulse, NOTI (one of Switzerland’s most sought-after and prolific live and session musicians) develops layers of intricate guitar lines and adds warm pads and dusty string samples to create a multi-layered, quietly stirring piece.
