Lauren Karina is a musician and content creator who created the moniker notyourwife as she tries her hand at music, a longtime passion she had never had the courage to pursue as a career until February 2025, by the release of a single she wrote titled 'Scene Stealer.'

Despite having established a successful educational platform called @indonesianwithlauren on instagram & TikTok and having developed a curriculum to teach the Indonesian language to foreigners which she launched back in 2024, she admits that music is where her heart actually lies, and would like nothing more than to show the world what she's capable of.

Lauren largely draws inspiration for her music and lyrics from her love for the ocean, which reminds her of home, a balmy archipelago called Indonesia.

She plans on releasing her first ever EP, titled 'Aphrodite Blues' on September 30th, 2025.
