now ghosts

now ghosts is mainly Scott Van Gorden and Jon Timian who have a long history of performing and recording in various DC and Baltimore bands. Our music has its roots firmly placed in Americana and Rock, but could drift in any direction at any time - for any reason - as the fickle song sirens call us to do so. Now, we're old enough to just let songs be what they want to be . you'll probably hear uplifting moments of clarity, energetic in-your-face country rock, fun but brutal break-up songs, dark and mis-leading ballads, Thelma and Louise stories, melancholy pop, and the somber pondering of souls cut adrift. We try to keep it honest while having fun in the studio. Sometimes, those two are not compatible since we all like to play with ear gadgets. But, that's the trick isn't it?
