NOWITSUS is a trio that has roots in hard rock, metal, punk and new wave. The songs are based on daily impressions, inspiration and are mostly written on improvisation. The music blends a range of genres such as post-punk, alternative rock, new wave and indie pop, but there are also influences of symphonic and prog rock. The band is active since 2017 and is based in the east of Holland near the German border. They are not afraid to explore musical side roads.
Their debut album ‘In search for the apex’ is a collection of old and new songs and was received with airplay on Pinguin Radio, the leading online radio in the Netherlands. As VPRO's 3 voor 12 already wrote: “The playing style is difficult to define, but influences from 80s New Wave and alternative rock are clearly recognizable. A strange mix, but tasty.”
