NOX is a vibrant mixed chamber choir, with singers passionate about sharing the joy of choral music and singing. Founded in Vaasa, Finland in 2019, the ensemble has grown to embody the rich tradition of choral singing while embracing contemporary styles. With a dedicated group of experienced singers, NOX strives for brilliance in every performance, bringing together diverse voices in a unique timbre that encompasses the mixed choir’s wide sound range, creating harmonious and moving musical experiences.

NOX repertoire encompasses a wide range of genres, featuring mainly modern classical works, but also more advanced contemporary compositions. Over the years, NOX has participated in numerous concerts, regional and national choir festivals.

The conductor:
Hanna Kronqvist is an award-winning, passionate and dedicated conductor who has been leading NOX since autumn 2020. She also leads the choir Exaudio and Åbo Akademi University’s student choirs Brahe Djäknar and Florakören. With her extensive background in choral conducting, Hanna brings a wealth of experience and a unique vision to NOX.
