Nozomi Nobody is an independent artist from Tokyo, Japan. Nozomi has released two albums and four singles in the past, all produced and sometimes mixed by herself with most of the instruments played also by herself.
Nozomi Nobody’s music has been categorized as folk/pop most of the time, but Nozomi has always had a lot of alternative mind and influences on her music, and that scent really started to bloom on the single “Every Blue” released in 2022, with unique alternative sound of the guitar and drums, and finally totally emerged on her upcoming EP “Dawn (Side-A)” which will be out on 10/27/2023. It was recorded with a full band for the first time in her career, joined by great Japanese indie musicians, Ryosuke Yoshiki (Ds / The Novembers), Haruna Ishigaki (Ba / TAMTAM) on bass, Kotaro Baba (Gt / NENGU), and an engineer, Yui Kimijima (Tsubame Studio).
These five songs on the EP were mostly written during the time of pandemic, mainly focused on her solitude and sorrow, in mix of Japanese and English. And “Sweet Dreams (Side-A)” is a lead single from it. In this song, she wrote about one of the biggest losses in her life to embrace it.
