NU (Naked Universe) is a brazilian duo formed by artists Ligiana Costa and Edson Secco. Through electronic pop music with traits of experimentalism, NU invites humans to undress themselves and face the unknown and reflect on earthly issues and daily struggles, gathering forces, dances, and consciousness.
The duo released their first album in 2015, participated in festivals and venues in Brazil, New York and several European countries. NU was among the finalists of the 2017 Professionals of Music award and among the artists of the Universo Paralello festival and is currently preparing the release of their second album, Atlântica.
In seven days of total isolation in the Atlantic Forest, Ligiana and Edson following the same steps of the Genesis, imposed themselves to create one song a day. Each new day as the first one and each new song as the birth of a new world.
