Nuclear Messiah is a monumental all-star metal project built around the visionary guitar work of Chris Poland (Megadeth), uniting 34 legendary musicians from across five decades of rock and metal into one cinematic, apocalyptic statement. Opening with a dramatic spoken introduction by William Shatner, the album unfolds as a sonic prophecy—part concept record, part metal summit, part historical event.
Produced by Brian Perera, Derek Hughes, and Jürgen Engler for Cleopatra Records, Nuclear Messiah brings together icons from thrash, classic rock, progressive metal, hard rock, and beyond. The lineup includes Marty Friedman, David Ellefson, Glen and Shawn Drover, Chris Adler, Rick Wakeman, Jonathan Cain, Don Airey, Carmine Appice, Vinnie Appice, Simon Wright, Derek Sherinian, Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Mick Box, Joel Hoekstra, Pat Travers, Vinnie Moore, Steve DiGiorgio, Tim “Ripper” Owens, Sebastian Bach, Joe Lynn Turner, Ronnie Romero, Arthur Brown, Thor, and many more—forming a living timeline of heavy music’s evolution.
At the core is Poland’s unmistakable guitar prowess, guiding the album through themes of power, destruction, and rebirth. Six Megadeth alumni appear together on record for the first time, symbolically connecting every era of the band’s legacy. Mixed by Cameron Webb and Tony Phillips, and mastered by Maor Appelbaum, the album delivers arena-scale power with precision and depth.
