NUCLEOSINTESIS

In 2020, during the height of the lockdown, Mauricio García (lead guitarist) and Sergio Aldana (bassist) set out to create a new extreme musical project, breaking away from traditional metal conventions and shaping the band's current sound. Soon after, they recruited an old friend on percussion, Fabián Obando. Later, rhythm guitarist David Espinel joined the lineup, though he was later replaced in early 2022 by the seasoned guitarist Carlos Gómez. Finally, the band was completed with the addition of Cristopher Archbold, a skilled guttural vocalist who brought the band's existential lyrics to life.

The band's influences are a fusion of sounds from classic death metal of the '80s and '90s. Conceptually, their lyrics and ideology have been heavily influenced by Spheres by Pestilence, as well as Focus by Cynic.

The band has performed multiple shows in their hometown, participating in both large and small festivals, and has been invited to other cities to showcase their extreme art.

In January 2021, they released their debut EP, Nucleosíntesis Primordial, featuring five songs that explore various existential and cosmological themes.
