Nuevo Elemento, the first boy band of Regional Mexican, born out of a partnership between Sony Music Latin and Estrella Media to produce a special edition of the talent show, Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento. Comprising members Hector Osobampo, Danny Rea, Yahir “Choco” Garduño, and Alejandro “Bebo” Garfias, Nuevo Elemento is stacked with talent and promises to dazzle Regional Mexican fans in the months and years to come. While the guys come from different regions, they are united by their passion for music.
“Ojos Negros” is the fifth single from Nuevo Elemento’s upcoming EP, scheduled for release late this year. Previous single “Mía” (My Woman), a gorgeous ranchera ballad released in July, has surpassed 1 million views on YouTube.
In spite of the members’ youth, Nuevo Elemento continues to rapidly garner respect and admiration from Regional Mexican music-lovers. The group’s debut single, “No Andes con Nadie” (Don’t Go Out With Anyone), reached the Top 35 of the Billboard Regional Mexican Airplay chart and earned the group two nominations at the 2021 Premios Juventud (Youth Awards).
Nuevo Elemento performed September 12 in Los Angeles and Ontario, Calif., as part of Estrella Media’s Festival Fiestas Patrias celebrations for Mexican Independence Day. The all-star musical lineup also includes Joss Favela, Banda Los Recoditos, Edith Márquez, Luis Coronel, and Río Roma among others.
