Nuovi Fratelli

Nuovi Fratelli is a duo composed of DJ/Producer Wayne A. Dickson (Scotland) and Engineer/Producer and synth player Luigi Pasquini (Italy). Their mission is to explore creative and experimental avenues in music, crossing genres with uncompromising high production values. The duo first came to prominence when remixing Change's 1985 classic Let's Go Together in 2019, and later for producing Nimbus Sextet's first two albums 'Dreams Fulfilled' (2020) and 'Forward Thinker' (2022) for Acid Jazz Records. They are based in Glasgow and work out of Pasquini's 'Dystopia Studios'. Nuovi Fratelli's Cosmic Disco remix of Str4ta's Rhythm Your Mind was issued on Brownswood in 2021. They produced folk/funk act The Paracosmos' singles 'Little Beacons,' and its follow-up 'Earthling,' which saw the team work with the legendary Linda Lewis on her final recording sessions. The duo have several remix and production projects lined up for 2024. The first of which is their debut single, which is a new arrangement of the Roy Ayers Ubiquity classic 'Searching,' backed by Nimbus Sextet and featuring alt-soul vocalists Russell Stewart and lissappear. The single was released on February 16th to wide radio support from many including Gilles Peterson, Craig Charles, Colin Curtis, Dom Servini and Robbie Vincent. The duo are also working on new albums by Nimbus Sextet and The Paracosmos.
