Nur Peach creates music to uplift and inspire. Moving between and combining the folk, pop and rock genres, her melodies are sweet and joyful. Her lyrics explore universal topics such as self love and acceptance, and creating positive change in this world.
Born and raised on the Coromandel Peninsula, Nur Peach has been singing and writing songs from a very early age, and had written more than 200 songs by the time she finished high school. Nur has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Auckland and extensive performance experience under her belt, both in New Zealand and around the world. Her 2022 single release “Offbeat” had a positive reception, being featured on Indie Music Center and Muzic.net.nz, while “Gift From Above” featuring Dylan Wade has had local radio success, being playlisted on Coromandel’s CFM and Northland’s Smooth FM.
Nur’s debut album, Syncopate, releases June 22, 2024. Made in collaboration with Auckland producer Scott Seabright, Nur says this album is a diary of her first year at university. It explores themes such as coming of age, self discovery and the struggles that come with being a little different. In her lyrics, Nur takes a positive angle, encouraging listeners to take positive risks and be true to themselves.
