UK Singer/Songwriter NYC, takes inspiration from Pop, R&B and Dance music to create songs that reflect his love for the 1990s/2000s eras, whilst updating those traditional sounds to remain fresh and current.
NYC won a national songwriting competition in 2016 and has appeared on radio stations in the UK, USA and Barbados. The title track for his 2017 album "Maui", was published by the Maui tourist board in 2018.
NYC's albums explore multiple genres, which is particularly evident on albums "Midnight (Deluxe Edition)", “Stranger Things" and self titled 2022 album "NYC".
NYC's sound is influenced by the R&B/Pop anthems of The Weeknd, Justin Timberlake, Shawn Mendes and Charlie Puth, with strong hooks and anthemic choruses consistent on every NYC release.
