Nigel Fernandes (aka. Nyoferno [næ-yo-fern-no] ) is a city brewed Indian Multi-instrumentalist.
He is a proud alumni of Don Bosco High School Matunga and comes with all the stereotypical traits you’d associate with a Goan Dadar boy.
You’d recognise him straight out of the crowd though with his Goan-Afro hybrid hairstyle.
Without the use of Vocals, he uses his knowledge of his instruments to create fun pieces of instrumental music that reflect what it means to be part of the very intrinsic; almost but not really westernised lifestyle.
His recent release represents experiences of being part of the school band and play and write parts that had great emotional significance due to the group effort of mostly not knowing but being completely trusting the band master.
Like the multitude of people in the city with a cry that can’t be defined by any one single voice Nyoferno takes on the mantle of that chill dude creating that very voiceless track that will make you wanna “lyricize” it in your very own emotions.
