Hi, My name is Nzau. I was born in Nairobi, Kenya and grew up in a town called Thika (Kenya). I am a singer/songwriter and music producer . I have been working for years to develop a quickly shifting lyrical and production style especially in the Afro beat genre. I previously co founded an Afro beat band by the name Cliché that successfully toured the US and gained a huge following in East Africa after Kenyan award nominations(Groove awards). After departing from Cliché, I started developing my own sound which I am still developing with every single release. I released a couple of songs but my song "control" stood out above them all. I was nominated for 2 cafe Ngoma awards and 3 Verse 5 awards and I managed to scoop both Cafe Ngoma Awards and 1 Verse 5 award in 2020.
