N’zau aka Ni**a Zau. The pioneer of gangsta rap in Angola. N’zau comes from a ancestry of African kings and warriors. He was born in Jamba, in the province of (C)Kuando Kubango in Angola, during the civil war. Jamba was controlled by U.N.I.T.A with General Jonas Savimbi in charge. Part of N’zau lyrical content it’s inspired by his childhood experiences during the war. Upon leaving Angola, N’zau spent most of his adolescence in North America between Canada and United States. The predominant portion of his lyrical content it’s based on what he’s experienced on the streets of those countries. He also lived in Portugal, spent long periods of time in Holland and UK. Serving a long prison sentence N’zau managed to relaunch his Rap career. The Music speaks for itself.
