In 2004, a teenage OD Davey began recording and sharing songs and music videos on CD-R from his bedroom in Essex, UK, under the pseudonym of Catgut. A decade later, a selection of these early recordings would be released by Tomlab Records as the Catgut Tape LP. Davey is now an artist and researcher into song and filmmaking at the University of Salford, UK. They continue to release solo music on Tomlab Records and are the voice and words of the experimental music duo, Klaar.
