The idea that "sounds are emotions telling stories in a musical expanse" forms the vision behind the Polish band OBRASQi.
Despite being classified as an indie/dream pop/rock act, OBRASQi's music unequivocally transcends genres. The trio draws equally from the atmospheric art-rock elements and modern electro-pop sounds. The Tri-City group was called to life in April 2019. In 2020, the group received an accolade in the “New Music” category of the musiclife.pl portal's awards. Undeterred by a fairly short musical journey, the trio has already made appearances at radio segments curated by prominent Polish music journalists, like Piotr Kaczkowski (Radio 357). Performances at the legendary Polish Radio Music Studio in Warsaw and the Ino-Rock International Festival are amongst their most significant live shows to date. So far, the band have released several singles, an EP and an album. The latter, the 2021 “Dopowiedzenia”, was lauded by some Polish music press as “Debut Record of the Year”. Dubbed “Polish Music Hope 2021” by the long-standing entertainment portal “Teraz Rock", the band are now working hard on living up to that expectation. The year 2022 is an invitation by the Riverside team to play as a special guest of the final of the jubilee tour, joining the line-up of the United Arts festival (Pain of Salvation, Editor). It is also work on the second album "szepty ciszy” /whispers of silence/ (premiere September 2022).
