Observist is a Progressive Metalcore 4 piece from Victoria, Australia. Since their debut in early 2021, Observist has quickly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the scene. With a diverse range of musical tastes between them, they share passion, drive, commitment, and hunger for creating/showcasing music; evident in their live shows and releases.

Since 2021 Observist has already played to sold-out audiences supporting national heavyweights Alpha Wolf, played with the likes of Void of Vision, Mirrors, Gravemind, The Gloom In The Corner and scored festival slots like Halloween Hysteria.

With emotion emphasized in their lyrics and vocals, heavy melodic riffs and explosive drum work; Observist's live shows are characterized by their energy and passion, with the band and crowd never staying still.

Drawing inspiration from a wide range of artists such as Vildhjarta, Northlane, Currents, Being As An Ocean and Thornhill, blending these influences to create their own unique sound that is dark, mysterious, groovy, and poetic, constantly evolving with each new release

Having collaborated with some of the best in the industry to refine their sound. For their first EP "From The Ashes," they worked with Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Make Them Suffer, Twelve Foot Ninja), while their single "Human" was mastered by Buster Odeholm (Humanity's Last Breath, Vildhjarta, Oceano)
