In 2020, at the slot where the wild, the kamikaze and the raw hard punch of punk hardcore cross paths, Obsoletos were born.
Based around Porto, Portugal, influenced by the 1980 punk scene (Minor Threat, Descendents, Black Flag, Circle Jerks) and inspired by Keith Morris most recent project OFF!, Obsoletos are set to endure what was started by the most remarkable Portuguese underground punk bands from that decade.
What if some of that post revolution ideals and disappointment-fueled hanger have travelled through the heads of the youth, if Censurados or Ku de judas would have lasted until today?
Obsoletos first EP Marquise (2022) is a burst of powerful riffs, frenetic beats and intelligent fast speeches entwined with the wrath that dwells on those who daily face social and economical abuse. Anarchy, awareness, from some nobodies to all nobodies.
