Ocean Starfield is the humble attempt of a northern Canadian musician to convey the musicality of the natural world through ambient, living, breathing music. Blending the beautiful voicings of warm analog gear with digital signal processing technology to paint soundscapes that are relaxing, meditative, and mindful, Ocean Starfield fuses analog and digital synthesis techniques, real on-site ambient field recordings of beautiful environments in and around Western Canada, and organic sounds captured through a specialized analog recording chain to create sounds that transcend ambiance — they are ethereal and real.
