This Spanish musician and composer creates atmospheric and ambient music, blending electronic elements with piano and string sounds. His compositions are beautiful and evocative, creating soundscapes that transport you to another world.
Victor J. Rivera cultivated from an early age an intense passion for music, and inherited from his father a love of the great Baroque musicians, especially Handel.
At an early age, Victor already started an electro-pop band and then got his first analogue synthesizers and specialised in software-assisted music production. Moved by his interest in different cultures and ways of life, he lived in Holland and France as well as in his native Spain.
As he gradually matured, his musical tastes broadened to include other genres such as new age music and, later, ambient and chill out. He combined these genres with dance music. He started a dance music group and recorded several singles for the Dutch production company "Dance One", which was managed by Ties Zuideman.
When his parents saw his musical vocation, they enrolled him in a music conservatory, but Victor preferred to develop his skills on his own.
In the compositions signed "Oceandelis", Victor tries to express his inner self and to materialise with sounds the feelings that cannot be conveyed in words. His music illuminates the surrounding reality with a subtle halo of beauty .
