Angelo, originally from Guatemala, and Lou Volchitsa Ravelli, french of Armenian descent, partners in music and real life. The band Ocean's Crown was created in 2020 and reunites both their musical influences. With a mix of acoustic guitar, piano melody, profound bass lines, classic violin, harmonica and cello.
With their first album ''Confined Love'', they decided to share their vision of themes like love, society, death, and personal growth.
With five songs each and an instrumental interlude, this album was written, recorded, and produced in their small Parisian appartment
during France's first lockdown.
Angelo started music at the age of fifteen, influenced by many music genres. The guitar was the first instrument he picked up, followed by harmonica, piano, bass, synthesizer and his voice. Decided to leave his homeland looking for a brighter future, he packed his guitar and crossed an ocean. He landed in London, England where he spent two years playing in bars and perfecting his skills. He then moved to Paris, France, where he is now based.
Lou Volchitsa Ravelli, born in a family of musicians, started the National Conservatory of Music at the age of six, where she learned the piano, cello and music theory . After eight years of musical training, and a side passion for acting, she taught herself the guitar and started writing songs. In 2020, she enrolled in Juilliard's Evening Division in voice training. She now works as an actress and model.
