Odd Sport whose real name is Guido J. Sarmiento was born and raised in Ecuador, and moved to the United States at age 14. He adopted his artist name from F. Scott Fitzgerlad's famous novel "The Great Gatsby". In which the main character, Jay Gatsby, tends to use the term "Old Sport" quite often. "Old" was replaced with "Odd" because of his unique style and refusal to fit into one category or genre. His privilege is being bilingual and being able to create in 2 languages, English and Spanish. His main influences consist of artists who refuse to follow the rules and be put in a box such as: Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Nirvana, KISS, Alesana, XXXTENTACION, Poppy, Slipknot, Rammstein, etc.
