Oddsprite

Born in Wales, the UK, oddSprite has been producing electronica since he was a teenager in the early 2000’s. Starting out with just a self built PC and a Yamaha CS1X synthesiser, from there he’s produced an extensive discography of cinematic electronica with synth wave influences. He’s a big fan of science fiction and his inspiration comes from many different popular modern and classic sci-fi films and TV series. OddSprite isn’t only music, he tells stories through sound. In the best tradition of sci-fi, you can explore stories about the world today from beyond the stars.

His first album 'Transient Reasoning' was recorded in the summer of 2008 and wasn't released until it's reimagining in 2022. The 8 tracks, arranged in pairs, expressed oddSprite’s thoughts for mankind, our past and our future. He rediscovered the music 14 years later abandoned on an ancient hard drive, like missing episodes of Doctor Who. The album was restored and released, ready for you to become immersed in the expansive melodies and entrancing rhythms.

Recently he's released 3 synth-pop singles, having found his voice. These have covered 3 big issues of our time: climate change, AI and workers rights and the lonely society.
