Ode Of Disgrace

Ode of Disgrace was originally formed in 2011 by Markus and Lauri, inspired by several metal bands of their time. The band has released several demos and singles with different line-ups, but since 2019, the lineup has been:
Roope Meriläinen – Vocals
Pessi Laine – Guitar and Vocals
Valtteri Rautanen – Guitar
Ville Lehtonen – Bass
Lauri Halme – Drums
Without a permanent bassist, but with the lineup mentioned above and a renewed musical style, the band released two singles, “Gift of Life” and “Gutter,” in 2019.
The band began working on new songs and decided in 2019 to make Ville, who had been their live bassist, a permanent member. That same year, they also released two single, “The End” and At the beginning of 2020, the single “Disarmed.”
In 2020, the band began working on a five-song EP, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the project was slowed down, and the recordings were postponed to the following year.
The EP, titled Orbis, was recorded in 2021 and released in full in 2022.

In August 2024, the band withdrew to record their second EP, which is set to be released in 2025. The first single from the upcoming EP, "Bloodlust," was released on January 8, 2025. The full EP, named Under Grey Skies, will have its second single released on April 2, 2025, with the title track, "Under Grey Skies."


The band underwent a lineup change in June 2025 when founding member Markus Lahti left the band and was replaced by Valtteri Rautanen.
