Ode of Disgrace was originally formed in 2011 by teenagers Markus and Lauri, inspired by multiple contemporary metal bands of that time. The band has released several demos and singles under a few different lineups, but after 2017 the lineup has been:

With this lineup and a renewed musical style, they released two singles, ”Gift of life” and ”Gutter”.
The band started writing new songs and decided to make their stand-in bassist Ville a full time member of the band in 2019. That same year the band released two more singles, ”The end” and ”Disarmed”.
In 2020 the band started writing a 5-track ep, but due to the outbreak of COVID-19 the band decided to slow things down and start the recordings next year.
The band recorded their ep, now titled ”Orbis” in 2021 and also shot a music video for ”Miseria” and "Aurora" all due to be released in early 2022.
The band withdrew to record their second EP in August 2024, which is set to be released later in 2025. The first single from the upcoming EP was released on January 8, 2025, and is titled Bloodlust.
