Equal parts journal entry and quiet panic, their independently produced songs are a sort of siren call. “Dirty Saint,” a first draft of the deconstruction of their religious childhood, Often was fortunate to make contact with more listeners through New Music Friday and Fresh Finds: Indie, along with premieres in AudioFemme, Wussy, and Flood Magazine. Now based in Los Angeles, Often uses their music to sift through lingering memories and halt the idea that any of us should ever feel alone.
